| Descripion | Requirements ● 3-5 years experience developing software applications in a commercial or institutional environment; agency experience is a plus. ● Strong knowledge of PHP5, MySQL, Apache, jQuery, CSS, HTML ● Experience with developing Facebook apps (FBML, FBJS, XFML etc) ● Experience with creating and consuming RESTful APIs ● Experience with CakePHPor other MVC frameworks ● Self motivated, and be able to multitask ● Strong object oriented programming knowledge Qualities: ● Passionate and excited about technology, web scale architecture, web 2.0, social, mobile applications and content management systems ● Enjoys working with the latest technologies, 3rd party applications, and social networking apps and wants to push the edge of web development ● Believes the best applications can be developed inexpensively and have yet to be developed ● Ability to drive projects through to completion on time/on budget, with or without supervision ● Can communicate technical difficulties in a productive manner ● Clear and useful code documentation ● Aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to changes in process or requirements ● Can be part of or lead a collaborative team with excellent communication skills, creativity, and innovative thinking ● Comfortable presenting complex technical ideas and business topics to team members and clients ● Self starter/motivator; ownership and pride in your own work |
