| Descripion | Lead SQA/Test Engineer – Web Overview Do you want to play fantasy sports all day for your full time paying job?! New web and mobile startup seeking experienced employees to fill key roles – Web Developer (PHP/ MySQL), QA Engineer (web oriented), Biz Dev (sports oriented), and Sports Analyst. Job Summary Company is looking for an experienced Lead SQA/Test Engineer to develop and establish the company’s QA and testing strategy in a startup environment. Duties include test planning, test case development, automation, hands-on testing, and problem reporting. The ability to work independently and with a small team is important. Responsibilities * Create and develop the test strategy for a web based service. * Create and execute test plans and test cases. * Report weekly test and schedule status to program mangers and QA managers. * Responsible for designing, creating, and implementing the test approach, test strategy, and test methodology for the QA infrastructure. * Assist with the development of software test standards, processes, procedures, and best practices to support the overall QA organization. * Perform the various types of testing: integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, support user acceptance testing, performance testing, stress testing, and so on. * Research, plan, setup, and maintain various QA management tools. * Setup and maintain a bug tracking system. * Work closely with development teams, product management and customer support. * Develop test automation framework and process. * Create and maintain various test metrics. * Review test cases and test results with the team as required. Required Skills and Experience * B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field. * 5+ years of professional experience in a web development environment. * Expert in writing functional test plans, writing test cases, and manual testing. * Experience in QA management systems such as Mercury Quality Center, WinRunner, Quick Test Pro, and Test Director. * Extensive experience in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and CGI. * Extensive experience in Linux and Windows workstations and servers. * Experience in bug tracking tools such as Bugzilla. * Experience with automation techniques and QA automation tools. * Knowledge in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. * Experience working with off shoring resources. * Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. * Must possess ability to work with minimal to no supervision. Desired Skills and Experience * Experience using Dreamweaver , Flash, and Photoshop * Good query skills and various OS utility tool experience such as TSO, Xpediter, FileAid, and Intertest. * Experience in using Microsoft Office and Excel.
